Opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of Salone Nautico di Venezia will take place on Saturday 29 May, in the presence of the Mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, and the President of Senate, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati.

During the ceremony, Incursori del Comando Subacquei and Incursori (COMSUBIN) will perform a parachuting jump from a helicopter of the Italian Navy Air Force, ending their flight in water of Venice Arsenale.

At the end of the ceremony, there will be the flight of Frecce Tricolori: firstly above the Venice Arsenale and then over the city, taking part of the 1600th anniversary from the foundation of Venice.
