Festa della Sensa

Among the events of the Venetian tradition stands out the Festa della Sensa, which more than any other event brings to life the thousand-year history of the Serenissima, its intimate relationship with the Sea and with the practice of Voga alla Veneta. A bond that is renewed every year, with the exciting historical parade and the evocative ceremony of the Marriage with the Sea, in the stretch of water in front of the Church of San Nicolò at the Venice Lido.
