La Veleziana 2022

The 15th edition of Veleziana is approaching: the one and only sailing event that allows the participants to sail stern wind into Saint Mark’s Basin!

Veleziana, organized by Compagnia della Vela, develops along a track that unfolds from the sea in front of Lido Island towards the basin in front of Saint Mark’s Square. Not only a show, then, but also a technical challenging regatta, because it takes place in different settings: from the sea to the lagoon, with their tides, bottlenecks, wind shifts.
