A CLASSIC OF VENETIAN NAUTICAL HISTORY

The event that aims to celebrate naval art in its ideal setting, the Venice Arsenal, is proposed again in collaboration with the Venice Boat Show.
The ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE BARCHE IN LEGNO DALLA PIETA’, wants not only to be a point of reference for owners of Dalla Pietà wooden boats, but wants to preserve a heritage of art of all craftsmen who build wooden boats. It becomes essential to introduce younger people to the value of woodworking in order to carry on a working art that should not be lost, thus developing important employment in the area.

This year ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE BARCHE IN LEGNO DALLA PIETA’ wants to espouse the initiative in support of the Children’s Volunteer Association “Nazareth House.”

Program

11:00  Arrival in parade of historic Dalla Pietà boats, docking of boats in the main “submarine” dock. Opening event with television presenter Chiara Perale

Volontari del Fanciullo “Casa Nazareth” with the handover to Mother Francesca Lorenzet Superior General and President Maria Rosa Collini of the sum raised by the contribution of supporters and sponsors. Toast with the participation of guests and some players of Italian Rugby National team.
13:00  Closing event with exit of historic boats from the Arsenal
