The Venice Boat Show, one of the leading international exhibitions dedicated to the boating industry, which brings the jewels of the sea to the lagoon, returns to the historic Arsenale from May 31 to June 4. A symbol of the centuries-old military dominion of the Venetian Republic, the Arsenale is the ideal stage to host the excellence of international shipbuilding. 220 exhibitors and 300 vessels occupy a water basin of 55,000 square metres, with over 1,100 linear metres of piers, and 30,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition space as well as the historical Tese.
Many innovations are planned for the 2023 edition: the growth of sailing boats and the expansion of the ‘eco-sustainable boating’ sector, together with a new exhibition area in the intermediate dry dock.
In addition, the Boat Show is also an opportunity to talk about environmental sustainability and explore educational and sports activities that revolve around the sea and the lagoon as their main focus.
Great emphasis is placed on design and innovation, electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion, and the lagoon’s traditional shipbuilding industry, the flagship of the amphibious city.
